FAQ

Before you book, a few things to know.

These are the questions that come up most. Didn't find what you needed? Just ask Bryan directly.

01 Before your cleaning

How do I book a cleaning?

Fill out the quote form, call or text Bryan directly at (740) 913-4494, or email bwilson@bcleancarpet.com. Bryan replies during business hours (Mon–Fri 8 AM – 6 PM, Sat 9 AM – 5 PM) and first thing the next morning otherwise.

How much does carpet cleaning cost?

$59 for 1 room, $109 for 2 rooms, $139 for 3 rooms, and $40 for each additional. $119 minimum per job. See the full price list on our pricing page. Every number is published, nothing hidden.

Do you give free quotes?

Yes, always free. Describe your rooms and services by form, phone, or text and we quote back the same day. For jobs that need an in-person look (severe pet damage, flood recovery, commercial), we can schedule a walkthrough at no charge.

What areas do you serve?

We serve a 20-mile radius around Westerville. That covers Dublin, Powell, Lewis Center, New Albany, Gahanna, Worthington, Upper Arlington, and the rest of Central Ohio. Outside the radius? Ask for a custom quote.

Do I need to move furniture?

Move small items like end tables and dining chairs if you can. We'll slide the larger furniture safely. We don't move entertainment stands, dressers, beds, or large cabinets, but we can clean under raised beds.

02 During the cleaning

How long will my carpet take to dry?

Usually 4 to 6 hours with hot water extraction, quicker than most companies. Fans and open windows speed it up. That dry time is the trade-off for a clean that reaches the padding, not just the surface.

Do I have to leave windows open to dry?

No. Windows don't need to be open. You can open them if you like when the weather permits. Ceiling fans help speed drying. We avoid excess water pressure that drags out the dry time.

Are your products pet and kid safe?

Yes. Our products are eco-friendly and VOC-free. We can also do a water-only hot water extraction if you have any concerns. Just ask when you book. Targeted pet urine treatment is available for urine spots.

Can I be home during the cleaning?

Absolutely, most customers are. We work around you and explain what we're doing as we go. If you'd rather leave, just unlock the door and we'll text when we're done.

03 After the cleaning

Why did spots come back after my last cleaning?

It's called wicking. Dirt deep in the padding resurfaces when the carpet got over-saturated last time. We use proper heat, targeted product, and quick drying to keep it from happening.

How often should I get my carpet cleaned?

Our rule of thumb: every 12 to 18 months for normal use, every 6 to 9 months for homes with pets or heavy traffic. We offer a gentle reminder service too. No pressure, just a text when you're due.

What if a stain comes back?

Call us. If it's a stain we committed to removing and it returns within 30 days, we come back and re-treat at no charge.

Do you offer carpet protectant?

Yes, $20 a room. We apply it after cleaning while the carpet's still warm. It extends stain resistance and the life of the clean. Optional, never pushed.

04 Pricing & payment

Why is there a $119 minimum?

It covers fuel, prep, and our time for small one-room visits. If your job totals more than $119, you only pay the total. The minimum never stacks.

Does the quote change when you arrive?

Only if the scope changes (extra rooms, severe pet damage we couldn't see in the photos, that kind of thing), and we tell you before we start. The published pricing is what you pay.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, all major credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, and ACH. Payment is due at completion of the cleaning.

Do you offer discounts?

We don't run promos that make you feel like you paid too much last time. Our pricing is always the same. Same for you, same for your neighbor.

05 The fun one

Your name is Bryan Wilson. Weren't you in the Beach Boys?

No, but since you made it this far, Bryan will sing a Beach Boys line during your appointment if you request it.
